Dietary Services Team Member
St. Luke Hospital and Living Center's Dietary Service department provides therapeutic nutrition to long-term care residents, medical/surgical patients and outpatients. This department is seeking one full-time employee that will be trained as a cook as well as dietary aide. Schedules can be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
Ensure that all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
Assist with meal planning and inventory management
Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a culinary or dietary role
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
