Certified Home Health Aide - Home Care
Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services to clients in their homes
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide
Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia, developmental disabilities, or in hospice care
Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and medication administration
Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and their families
Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
