Michael Perigo, Foundation/Marketing Director, Retires at end of December 2023

Michael Perigo, Business Development/Foundation Director of St. Luke Hospital and Living Center, retired at the end of December 2023. He joined the St. Luke staff in May 2022. He will continue to work on a part-time basis in the marketing area for the hospital (placing advertising, posting on social media, and updating the website) through April until his replacement is on-boarded.

Perigo holds an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a Master's degree from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, both in Indiana. He began his fundraising career in 1986. The first ten years or so were focused on annual fundraising for various arts and culture organizations in Indianapolis. He worked for Butler University as a capital campaign associate and then shifted to human services and health and health-related charities for the next 25 years. He holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University and "Certified Fund Raising Executive" professional credential. He is an active member of Kiwanis International and the Knights of Columbus.

His future plans include volunteering, specifically, increasing his activity as Leadership Development Coordinator for the Kansas District of Kiwanis, serving as Vice President of the Kiwanis Club of Emporia, and managing Facebook pages for various non-profit organizations.
