Leaving Your Legacy (Planned Giving)

You want to have a life with meaning. Part of a meaningful life is living on in the memory of your family, friends, and community. A well-crafted estate plan can create that legacy for your loved ones and community, fulfilling both your desire to provide for your heirs and philanthropic objectives.

Through thoughtful gift planning, you and your estate can enjoy important tax and other benefits, while at the same time advancing the ability of St. Luke Hospital and Living Center to serve the healthcare needs of Marion County.

Your gift to St. Luke Hospital Foundation through a will, life insurance, retirement plan, or other estate plan will directly impact the lives of those served by St. Luke and its related programs and services. Donors my restrict their giving to benefit a particular program or activity (including Endowment and St. Luke Hospital Auxiliary) or make an unrestricted gift to be used where needed most.

Making a Gift of Assets

Including your philanthropic objectives for St. Luke Hospital Foundation is an important decision and part of your overall estate planning process. Always consult your tax, legal, and/or financial advisor(s) before making a planned gift commitment.

With your generosity, St. Luke Hospital and Living Center can continue to serve the changing healthcare needs of Marion County residents and contribute to the economic vitality of Marion County.

In addition to an estate gift, donors are also invited to consider outright and unencumbered gifts of Cash, Stock, Grain and Livestock, and Real Estate. If you itemize, these, too, can provide significant tax benefits, in addition to the philanthropic impact on the services provided by St. Luke Hospital. Please contact the Foundation director with questions about other types of gifts. Note that gifts may be subject to approval by the Foundation Board of Directors.
