Dr. Baxa sees patients the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at St. Luke Medical Clinic.
A Kansas native, Baxa grew up in Salina and attended undergraduate school at Fort Hays State University
and then Kansas Wesleyan. After obtaining his undergrad, he attended medical school at the University
of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine,
Neuromuscular Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation Residency, serving as Chief Resident, at
Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri and recently completed his fellowship in
Rheumatology at Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center in Hudson, Florida. Upon completion of his
fellowship, Dr. Baxa and his family wanted to return to Kansas to give back to the communities that
helped raise him.
Baxa is passionate about helping his patients achieve a better state of health, utilizing a multifaceted approach to treating disorders including OMM (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine).
